Enfield SAB High Risk Advisory Panel Documents and guidance (March 2025) - Documentation around the Enfield High Risk Advisory Panel which is a forum to discuss high risk cases of apparent self-neglect where normal risk management processes have failed.
Enfield Safeguarding Adults Board Falls and Safeguarding Adults Protocol (December 2024) – this guidance will support staff to recognize which falls need to be reported under Safeguarding Adults processes, what documentation should be in place around all falls and the importance of risk assessment at all points.
Enfield Safeguarding Adult Board – Pressure Care and Safeguarding; Guidance for Providers (August 2024) – This guidance for Social Care Providers in Enfield has been developed in light of national guidance issued in January 2024 by the Department of Health and Social Care (which you can find at ‘Safeguarding Adults Protocol: Pressure Ulcers and Raising a Safeguarding Adults Concern’ ).
Enfield SAB Escalation Policy (July 2024) – The Board has agreed a 4 stage escalation process where there is a disagreement between partners about work with an individual or group of adults. The aim is to enable prompt discussion and hopefully resolution – leading to better outcomes for adults in Enfield and learning for the professionals involved.

Enfield Multi-Agency Risk Meeting Agenda and Principles – the Self Neglect Task and Finish group has agreed an agenda and guidance for professionals working on cases where they feel there is risk and they want to pull the multi-disciplinary team together. We know that this approach is successful in working with adults who appear to be self neglecting but the agenda can be used in any sort of meeting where there are concerns and any partner agency can call such a meeting. A multi-disciplinary approach is key to work with complex adults.
