How do I make a page easier to read using ReachDeck toolbar software
If you are finding it difficult to see the information on this website and on the external sites we link to, there are several things you can do.
For further accessibility options and tips, please click on the link at the top of the page called ‘Accessibility tools.’
Also, BBC Accessibility has tips for people with sight or hearing problems or who find it difficult to use a mouse or keyboard. It shows you how to make the internet more accessible for you.
ReachDeck toolbar software
We have added speech, translation and reading support to our website with ReachDeck toolbar.
Using ReachDeck toolbar software, you can translate any content including PDF's on the Mylife website to your preferred language. ReachDeck toolbar also gives you the ability to have the content read aloud to you in English or a selected language.
Click on the ReachDeck toolbar icon on the content page to start using.

Jargon buster
We appreciate that the words used in the world of social care and support can sometimes be 'professional' and a bit 'technical'. The Social Care Jargon Buster document gives simple, clear explanations and definitions for these, and we hope you find it useful.
