Provider Forum
What is the Provider Forum?
The Provider Forum is a quarterly meeting, run by Enfield Council colleagues. The agenda varies each time, and we may also have external speakers on requested topics (Public Heath, Safeguarding). Minutes and slides will also be shared and uploaded on MyLife.
Who is the Provider Forum for?
The Provider Forum is for any care and support provider in Enfield to attend. We welcome providers from the Domiciliary Care, Supported Living, Care Home and Day Opportunities sector, as well as anyone else who is interested to know more about delivering support in Enfield and working with colleagues.
What is the purpose of the Provider Forum?
The purpose is to discuss current issues, developments in the local market and workforce and the challenges providers face working in Enfield. It’s also a place to share best practice and improve communications across the Health and Social Care system.
When and where the forums take place
The forums are held quarterly for each service type and client group (Adults and Older people, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health). These forums are in-person at specific venue (Park Avenue)
Chaired by Head of Brokerage, Contracts and Community Services, and other Enfield Council colleagues from Commissioning and Adult Social Care, public Health and other senior management from Older People, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health.
Upcoming forums
We plan for the next round of Provider Forums to take place March 2025.
We will advertise the dates on MyLife.

Training on how to use vital signs equipment
To support you and your staff with the correct use of this equipment, we have provided links to the following UCL Partners and Health Education England training videos:
Staff members should read through the equipment’s’ accompanying instruction manuals which will help to ensure the equipment is set up, used and maintained correctly.
Decontamination of the equipment
Meticulous adherence to hygiene measures for infection prevention and control is essential for preventing the transmission of COVID-19. We appreciate many of you will already have in place processes around the decontamination of equipment, however to support you with this, please find a one-page guide produced by Public Health England on the routine decontamination of reusable non-invasive patient care equipment.
Providers unable to stock PPE from normal stockist
If you're unable to order your own PPE supplies from your normal stockist, please contact:
- Homecare providers, carers or personal assistants: email brokerage@enfield.gov.uk
- Day care providers: email chris.reddin@enfield.gov.uk
- Care homes, extra care or supported living: email Samantha.gajadhar@enfield.gov.uk
A member of the team will be in contact to discuss your requirements. PPE can usually be collected within 24 to 48 hours of the order being placed. Please ensure you continue to order PPE supplies from your normal stockist, so to elevate the pressure on the council’s stock pile.
If you do not have access to email, please contact the council’s Single Point of Access service on 020 8379 1001 who will ensure your information is passed on to the relevant team.
