Domestic abuse support - local provision

Solace Womens aid

Duty line currently operating Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, 0203 795 5068 and their e-mail is advocacy.enfield@solacewomensaid.org. They are not currently carrying out face to face visits but are providing support over the phone.

Enfield Saheli

Enfield Saheli are proving telephone advice and counselling over the phone. They can be contacted via phone or e-mail, 020 8373 6218 and info@enfield-saheli.org.uk.

They have also joined up with other organisations in delivering hot meals and shopping to vulnerable women who are elderly and frail.

Enfield Women’s Centre (EWC)

EWC are currently providing support over the phone. They are looking to run the freedom program where its safe to do so via zoom. More details to follow when it is up and running. They can be contacted via their number, 0208 638 6941

Victim Support

We currently have IDVA support for DA victims in the borough but the direct numbers for the IDVA’s are not for public use. Referrals and phone calls being made by professionals are being accepted.

National helpline numbers

National Domestic Violence Helpline number: 0808 200 247& – via this helpline you will be able to access free advice and available spaces at refuge across UK.

Galop: Galop run a national LGBT Domestic abuse line Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. On Wednesday and Thursdays, they run their telephones lines until 8pm. They can be contacted on 0800 999 5428

Respect is an advice line to support male victims of domestic abuse. They offer an advice line, 0808 801 0327.

Victim Support: Victim support also run a national number for all to access for advice and support, 0330 021 6111

Solace: Solace have a number which can be accessed by all for advice and support, 0808 802 5565. This advice line operates Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Tuesdays.

Solace also have a rape crisis helpline, 0808 801 0305. This advice line operates Monday and Friday from 10am to 2pm, Tuesday 10am to 1pm and 6pm to 8pm and Wednesday and Thursday 1pm to 5pm

Online support available to call

Womens aid are currently running an online support service which is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 12 noon. They also have other online material which can be accessed form their website.

Refuge have an online national website where there is a lot of support for victims of DA including online chats.

Respect is an advice line to support male victims of domestic abuse. They also run a web chat on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am to 11am and 3pm to 4pm.
