Warm Welcome Space
Many places are opening up as warm, friendly spaces this winter for anyone who needs them. Warm Welcome Spaces helps organisations open their doors to people who are struggling to heat their homes. There are over 3,000 free warm spaces available across the UK this winter.
St Mary Magdalene Church
St Mary Magdalene Church runs a warm drop‑in every Wednesday at 1:30pm. They offer friendly chat, free tea and biscuits, and board games. There are local buses nearby for easy travel.
Help with meals
If you need home‑delivered meals, several companies can bring hot or frozen meals straight to your door. Local Community Food Hubs also offer free food to anyone who needs extra help.
Social tariffs
