Introduction to MyLife

What is MyLife Enfield?

The London Borough of Enfield has developed MyLife Enfield in collaboration with residents. MyLife Enfield provides you with Information and Advice including a Directory of local services and organisations that can support you to maintain your lifestyle, health, independence and wellbeing. The site will allow you to save, email and print information relevant to you.

Using the Search Function in MyLife

You can search MyLife Enfield for content that is relevant to you, the location of the Search box is dependent upon the device that you are using.

How to search on your laptop/desktop computer

The search box is located at the top right hand side of the MyLife homepage.

You can search by typing in what you are looking for and press enter. The results will include information and advice pages on the site as well as organisations from the resource directory that might be able to help you.

The results can be refined if necessary, one of three ways.

By Source which is either Enfield Directory (Organisations that might be able to help you) or Enfield MyLife (Information and advice pages on the site)

By Category, and there are sub-categories within each one

And finally by Areas, where you can pick a Postcode or part of the borough.

You are also able to search the whole of the Directory by using the panel on the Resource Directory and Events tile.

Clicking any of the categories will return all Directory entries and content pages on the site which have been 'tagged' in that particular category. The results can be refined as described above.

How to search on your tablet/smartphone

The search box is located in the Menu button.

You can search by typing in what you are looking for. The results will include information and advice pages on the site as well as organisations from the resource directory that might be able to help you.

The results can be refined if necessary, one of two ways, but firstly you need to tap the Filter button.

Then either by Category and the sub-categories within each one

Or by Source which is either Enfield Directory (Organisations that might be able to help you) or Enfield MyLife (Information and advice pages on the site)

How do I make a page easier to read using ReachDeck toolbar software

If you are finding it difficult to see the information on this website and on the external sites we link to, there are several things you can do. To make the words on a web page bigger you can use the text sizing buttons at the top of the page.

Using ReachDeck toolbar software, you can translate any content including PDF's on the Mylife website to your preferred language. ReachDeck toolbar also gives you the ability to have the content read aloud to you in English or a selected language.

What is MyPad?

MyPad will let you save the information you have found on MyLife. You can click on the red disk icon to save the services that you have found, you can add your own notes and then click the Add button and this will save it for you until you leave the website.
