Any carer who is employed via an agency to provide care in a care home, supported living accommodation or in a person’s own home is entitled to be paid their full wage should they be shielding, isolating, or be suffering with Covid symptoms. Employers have received Infection Prevention Control monies from central government via the local authority, to pay carers in these circumstances. Should this not be the case, please email, Beverley Goldhawk (Improvement & Standards Manager): email@example.com
