Service summary

The Julian Campbell Foundation purpose is to raise awareness of mental health difficulties amongst young people. Our aim is to identify and support young people experiencing mental health difficulties to reach their academic and social potential. We do this by providing mood management strategies alongside a mentoring service. We provide an alternative provision service for young people who may have any of the following symptoms:

  • unable to concentrate or deal with change
  • difficulty managing anger or controlling their temper
  • unable to accept negative feedback
  • sleep disturbances

We are also concerned about parents/carers who may be at their wits end regarding handling the situation with the young people in their care and as such we run a group where they can share and discuss their experiences.
