MyPad lets you save links to information you have found on MyLife and want to go back to. You can also add your own notes and update them whenever you wish. The links and notes are saved until you close down MyLife.

Service summary

Edmonton Green Library is one of four main hub libraries in Enfield. The library is located within the shopping mall and sits over two floors, with 100 PCs, scanners, photocopying, printing, fax, spaces to sit and study or read, unlimited Wi-Fi access and charge points available on both floors.

 

Membership for all Enfield Libraries is free and having a library card for one Enfield library allows access to all libraries across the borough. Membership grants access to:

  • A wide range of books, Audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs to hire from all Enfield libraries and the London Libraries Consortium
  • 1 hour of free PC usage per day
  • Scanner and photocopying facilities
  • Access to our 24-hour Virtual Library resources including practice Driving Theory and UK Citizenship Tests

 

We also offer services via our digital library including access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, eComics and online courses for children, teenagers and adults. You can also access a wide range of digital newspapers and magazines in several languages via PressReader. You can find more information on the digital library here.

At Edmonton Green Library, we run the following services:

 

Adults

  • Councillor Surgery – Local councillor surgeries on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday and Saturday of each month, 10:30am – 12:00pm
  • Tea and Chatter with Age UK and Icam – Tea, coffee, cake and activities for people aged 50+. The last Friday of every month, 10am – 12noon
  • Job Club – Advice sessions on getting back into work, how to create or update your CV and more, run by Williamz Omope. Wednesdays, 10:00am. Please contact williamz.omope@enfield.gov.uk for more details.
  • ESOL Conversation Club – Free spoken English classes for Adults, Wednesdays, 11:00am-12:00pm. Please call 020 8379 2610 for more details.

 

Parent/Children Activities

  • Baby Rhyme Time – A singing and rhymes session for children aged 3 and under. Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:00am – 12:00pm. Term time only.
  • Daddy Cool Saturday – Singing, stories and activities aimed at Dads, Grandads and children aged 2-5, however all parents/carers are welcome. Saturdays, 11:00am.
  • School Visits and Nursery Visits are welcome – Please contact Edmonton Green Library to arrange bookings.

 

The library has Community Rooms and office spaces available for hire. The hire rates for the Community Rooms are £13.50/hour for Room 1 and £22.00/hour for Room 2. Community Room 1 has seating for up to 12 people. Community Room 2 has access to a kitchenette, and seating for up to 24 people. Both rooms have a TV screen and projector.
