Service summary

Fit for Life promotes happier, healthier ageing through physical activity and at the same time combat loneliness. Fit for Life will improve the efficiency of the cardio-vascular system, help to lower blood pressure, reduce weight and help with the prevention of diabetes as well as strengthening bones and muscles. Added to this, there is the extra bonus of making new friends through the social interaction that comes with each class.

The classes are run at various venues across the borough, including church halls, leisure centres, town parks and country parks. All of our exercise teachers have been specially selected to motivate the groups, enable people to participate at their own level of ability, and make the groups fun.

All exercise participants get their first class free and after that there is a charge of £3.50 with the exception of Pilates, Zumba Gold, Line Dancing and Fit Steps which is £4.00

All our walks are £1.00 voluntary donation.
