Short term support and long-term placements are offered which include safeguarding and crisis support, transitional support and respite care. A support plan with goals will be put in place and during the placement.

The Adult Placement Scheme will:

  • Assess suitability of carers
  • Check health and safety in the home
  • Carry out Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks
The scheme is responsible for recruiting, training and approving adult placement carers. It is registered by the Care Quality Commission and inspected regularly.

If you would like to join our scheme as a carer, you must live in Enfield and have a spare bedroom so the adult placed with you can have their own space. You will go through a panel approval process and be required to attend reviews, carers meetings and mandatory training. For more information email the team or visit Adult Placement Scheme/Enfield Shared Lives

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
