Woodbury Manor is a residential care home (without nursing) for the elderly that supports up to a maximum of 60 people. The staff are fully trained and well equipped to provide standard residential care but are also adept in supporting those suffering with the many various forms of dementia. We care for all of our residents on a completely individual basis - from those just needing a helping hand to those requiring assistance with mobility and dressing, right through to residents that require a total 24 hour care plan regime. All residents, whatever their level of need, have an individual Care Plan which is monitored and updated daily. Our residents have a right to make their own choices wherever possible and can choose how they spend their time from day to day, we recognise the intrinsic value of people and that all deserve and receive complete and utter respect. There is a comprehensive programme of entertainment, designed to stimulate but not intrude, arranged on a regular basis by one of our resident activities co-ordinator. This includes fashion shows, music and movement, community singing, dancing, art, cards and other games, all of which are completely discretional. A non-denominational service of worship is held monthly. A library, including large print books and audio books, are available for all residents to enjoy. The choice of activity is limited only by imagination.
