Service summary
Age UK are an independent charity that helps older people in Enfield to stay active, stay connected and get the most out of life.
Age UK Enfield have numerous services and projects operating across the borough including:
- Dementia Day Care Service – providing day care services for people with dementia
- Falls Stop Service – provides advice, support to people who has had a fall or is at risk of falling
- Fit for Life – exercise classes including line dancing, Zumba and walking groups
- Footcare – toe nail cutting service
- Home Based Support – Care service to people over 50 living in their own homes
- iCan– Supports people with health conditions including: diabetes, stroke, dementia or at risk of falls
- Information and Advice – provides face to face advice that covers every aspect of later life
- Memory Care – Help and guide people who have recently had a diagnosis of dementia and their carers
- Memory Clubs – (Memory Meet Ups EN2 and Memory Club N9) Friendly groups for people with dementia and their carers
- Planning for Later Life – Help you plan for the future
- Volunteering – Interesting and engaging opportunities
- Tea and Chatter EN2, Tea and Chatter N21, Tea and Chatter N9, Tea and Chatter EN3– Social groups and activities
- Carers support group- for people who care for someone with a dementia.
- Veterans support project
